Art After Hours

For the Month of September our featured artist is Photographer Lynn Canez. Please attend her opening night reception September 11th from 5-9pm at Wake Forest Art & Frame. Come meet the artist and enjoy some refreshments!
"My first camera was a Kodak 110 Instamatic. It was given to me as a gift for my 19th birthday by my then boyfriend, now husband.
My first photography class was a forensics class. The second was in the art department, much better. I had more college classes and thought I knew what I was doing until I attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia. The training I received prepared me to photograph portraits, architecture, product and events. I've photographed thousands of portraits, hundreds of buildings, art, football games and even a wedding, which I swore I would never do. I moved to Raleigh with my family in 2002 and started my photography business in 2003.
Long and short I love photographs. The photos I value the most are of family. It's my way to time travel."
